Botanical Name - Geranium maculatum

Other Names - Alumroot, Storksbill, Wild Geranium

Origin - USA

Cranesbill is a 2 foot high bush with erect, unbranched stems with "toothed" leaves and pinkish-purple flowers that grows in temperate woodlands across North America. Cranesbill is an unusually rich source of tannins.

Typical Preparations - Tea, tincture, and poultice.

Packaging - We package all of our herbal, fruit powders and spices in a heat sealed mylar bag which serves as a very effective barrier to light, oxygen, odors, flavors, moisture, and bacteria. The bag can be resealed with any household iron or curling iron.
