Guar Gum Powder

Botanical Name - Cyamopis tetragonolobus

Origin - India

Derived from the little-known guar bean, Guar Gum is a natural thickening agent used extensively in the commercial food industry. At the consumer level it's most commonly used when baking with whole grain flours that typically don't rise due to their lack of gluten thus making it popularly used in gluten-free recipes and gluten-free products.

In herbal therapy, the properties of Guar Gum Powder as a form of soluble fiber.

Directions: Take this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 oz. (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking.

Precautions - Contraindicated in bowel obstruction. CHOKING: Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention.
