Cosmetic Usages - Incorporate into lotions, creams, ointments, soaps and shampoos.

Flavor Profile - slightly tart and sweet fruity flavor

Culinary Usages - Powder can be added to a wide variety of dishes to give them an extra kick: salads, meats, guacamole, gravy, smoothies, yogurt, cereal, and desserts, to name a few. You can also use pomegranate powder to make pomegranate juice and pomegranate tea.  Pomegranate powder is pervasive in Indian cuisine, where it is known as anardana and is used as a souring agent in many curries, chutneys, and meat dishes.  Substitute fruit powder for 1/4 of the regular flour called for in a cake recipe.

Pomegranates are known for their perfectly sweet and tart flavor and antioxidants, free-radical fighters. The pomegranate is native to central Asia and has been prized by civilizations since ancient times. It is a red fruit, full of hundreds of seeds surrounded by a red, juicy pulp called aril.
