Yucca Root Powder

Botanical Name - Yucca schidigera

Common Names - Yucca, Manioc, Cassava, Mojave (Mohave) Yucca, Spanish Bayonet, Our Lord's Candle, Joshua Tree, Datil, Adam's-Needle, Mole, Soap Weed, Whipple Plant, or Dagger Plant 

Yucca contains vitamins A, B, and C, calcium, copper, iron, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and large concentrations of steroidal saponins (a natural source of cortisone normally produced by the adrenal glands and having a distinctive foaming characteristic) which makes for a better lather when used as a natural herbal soap, body wash, shampoo, and cleanser. Saponins also have antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, gluten-free, and emollient properties for example

Use Yucca Root powder, which contains pure dry Yucca Root extract, by mixing it with water, yogurt and smoothies or in juice as you would protein powder. The Yucca Root powder contains the saponins that are used as an effective anti-inflammatory and to reduce muscle spasms, which brings relief to arthritic pain

Packaging - We package all of our herbal and fruit powders in a heat sealed mylar bag which serves as a very effective barrier to light, oxygen, odors, flavors, moisture, and bacteria. The bag can be resealed with any household iron or curling iron.
