Origin - Bulgaria
Flavor Profile - Has a potent lemon flavor and aroma. Pairs well with vegetable, rice, chicken and fish, mint, black pepper, rosemary, oregano and marjoram.
Culinary Usages - Good addition to tea blends. Dried lemon balm is also used to season soups, stews, rice, vegetables, salads, and chicken and fish.
Cosmetic Usages - Infuse in water or oil for use in soap, creams, lotions and other products for the hair and skin.
Household Usages - Use water and alcohol infusions to make natural household cleaners.
Aromatic Usages - Add the fragrant leaves to potpourri mixtures, sachets and herbal pillows.
Used since ancient times to calm the heart and the body, lemon balm with its delicate lemony flavor uplifts the spirit and any culinary dish it is added to.
